Green Apple Golf Club was founded by Kyla Jo, a PGA Associate, in the fall of 2024 — with a simple mission: to introduce New Yorkers to the game of golf, one swing at a time.
Her Mission
To introduce the joys of golf to newbies of all ages who have lacked the time, resources, or support — and to make beginners feel welcome from the first swing.
Her Experience
A PGA associate based in metro NYC, she brings more than twenty years of experience to instruction. She began competing in Junior PGA tournaments at age 9, played competitively through high school, and was named a Texas All-State golfer in 2010 at 17.
The Program
Inspired by her experience, she built Green Apple Golf Club's program to introduce golf to youth and adults of every age. Players learn proper technique, appropriate etiquette, and — most importantly — quiet confidence in their ability to grow.

Trained under the masters.
Refined under Sleepy Hollow Country Club's Kevin Sprecher, with influence from David Leadbetter, Gavin Grenville-Wood, and Mike Adams.
